Racing at one of the country's top triathlon venues in the heart of Rutland.
The Dambuster Triathlon is a premiere UK event. We are open to all abilities.
Rutland water is a stunning triathlon venue. With the calm and clear waters of Whitwell creek, transition on the waters edge, a fantastic road network for a varied and interesting bike route, then the loveliest run you're ever likely to encounter during a triathlon. The Dambuster triathlon has been a much loved event in the UK triathlon calendar for over 20 years.
The 2024 edition of the event sees a closed road bike course and the popular Sprint distance return. We would love to welcome you to this wonderful county for some amazing multisport racing and a fantastic weekend in Rutland.
The event is open to all. We welcome experienced age groupers as well as first timers.
The Dambuster Course
The swim course is in the heart of the event hub. In a sheltered creek giving you maximum opportunity to perform.
The closed road bike course is an exciting edition to the new Dambuster allowing everyone the chance to race with maximum safety and opportunity to concentrate on their performance.
The run course is a stunner, taking you across Rutland Water dam with panoramic views across this beauty spot.
To qualify for the European championship event for which this is a qualifier, athletes must register their intent to qualify on the specific British Triathlon event page HERE and must take part in at least one of the specific qualification races.
Athletes must register before the deadline appropriate to their race. Athletes who register after 5pm on the deadline for a qualification race but then compete in that race will not be considered eligible for qualification from that race and their registration will only cover the remaining races. Once a registration deadline has passed, registration will stay closed for the weekend and re-open on the following Monday.
PLEASE READ THE FULL QUALIFICATION DETAILS VERY CAREFULLY. The Dambuster triathlon is a host event for the qualifier but Pacesetter Events plays no part in the selection of athletes.
